Sing the World | Canticum Chamber Choir at Sandgate Town Hall
Enjoy a feast of uplifting, dramatic, and inspiring choral music from around the globe and through the ages. Canticum performs works by Lauridsen, Poulenc, Gibbons, Elgar and others, and features works by Brisbane-based composers Phillip Gearing, and Joe Twist, whose recently-commissioned “Let me sing the world”, written for us, is simple plea for peace in the world.
Conducted by Emily Cox, this joyful celebration of 30 years of music-making in Brisbane takes place on Sunday 16th November at 3pm.
For this Sunday afternoon concert, the gorgeous, heritage-listed Sandgate Town Hall provides the perfect setting.
