Sarah Hopkins will be performing as part of Womenspace’s monthly Women Weaving Stories with Song.

Sarah Hopkins is an internationally acclaimed composer, performer, visionary artist & workshop facilitator, touring as a cultural ambassador for Australia since 1981. Highlights include: a co-write with Bjork; a collaborative CD with the Gyuto Monks of Tibet; a collaborative CD with 2 Yolngu Songmen from NE Arnhem Land; creating & co-presenting ‘Healing Circles for Reconciliation’ Workshops (2013-2019) plus sharing her ILLUMINATIONS visionary artworks/activation codes with the world (since 2017). Women Weaving Stories with Song is a monthly series from Womenspace Sandgate, held on the third Sunday of each month. Each month a different female artist takes the stage to share her story and her soul through live performance. Across the series, expect a rich diversity of voices, ages and cultures.

Part of the proceeds go directly to the performing artist. The remainder supports Womenspace’s ongoing work with women in our community.
