Hidden World Playground is set to turn into a community celebration, hosted by Bisma Asif, Local Member for Sandgate, and Emma Comer, Federal Member for Petrie.

Coming up on Saturday, 8 November at the brightly coloured playground on Roghan Road, Fitzgibbon will be a morning full of fun, with stalls, food, face painting, craft activities, a jumping castle and much more.

Ms Asif said she was excited to host the Hidden World Community Day alongside the Federal Member for Petrie, Emma Comer MP.

“This will be the perfect opportunity for our community to come together and connect with friends and neighbours,” Ms Asif said.

“Join us on 8 November for good food, music, activities and family fun!”

Ms Comer said the Hidden World Community Day was going to be a day full of family, fun and local spirit.

“Bisma and I are proud to be hosting this event along with our community partners,” she said. “Bring along the whole family, it’s going to be a great day out!”

Bringing the Community Together

Hidden World Playground is one of the biggest playgrounds in the local area, featuring accessible toilets, BBQ areas, sheltered picnic table areas, as well as plenty of parking.

It also features a fenced dog off-leash park, so remember to bring your furry friend along with you!

With more people feeling disconnected from their community every day, this month’s event gives locals the opportunity to reconnect with neighbours and friends alike.

The event will have fun for all ages, including a secret message sprinkled all across the playground for the kids to discover and decode.

Ms Asif said that if anyone had any questions about the event, to please contact her office on 3639 9100 or email Sandgate@parliament.qld.gov.au

“We can’t wait to see you there!” she said.
