1. Sandgate Farmer’s Market
If you have been busily searching ‘Sandgate markets Sunday’ you are in luck! Every Wednesday and Sunday, head to Seymour Street in Sandgate for fresh spray free produce at the Sandgate Farmer’s Market run by Satori Organics Sandgate Markets.
We love that most of the food found at these markets was grown by local farmers in the Woodford, Wamuran, Blackbutt and Lockyer Valley areas. You know you are onto a good thing when your fruit and vegetables were grown with love locally and you are buying direct from the farmers.
On Sunday’s, the markets scale up to include a banana truck, the Little Organic Co, pop up stalls and a baker’s stand with French pastries. The crème Brulé and tiramisu Danishes are the best! Keep an eye out for a sneaky special too as there are many bargains to be found. Eftpos is available so there are no excuses to not buy up big.

When we visited, we enjoyed exploring the art on sale at the et al Gallery and Studio plus gift hunting at the Something About Audrey boutique.
The markets run along the walkway outside several Fifth Avenue stores. It’s a mini market that packs a punch when it comes to quality, handmade local goods.
