Myrtle & Blossom

Myrtle and Blossom

Myrtle & Blossom is a relaxed café located in Sandgate, with a focus on sharing the joy of real food and artisan produce. They source the freshest seasonal ingredients by working directly with creative farmers, growers, and artisan suppliers to ensure genuine flavours are captured in every dish.

With a commitment to maximum taste and minimal waste, their sustainable menu puts a fresh spin on familiar favourites. Some of the produce comes straight from their home market garden, while all kitchen waste is either composted or fed to their chickens.

The café’s breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus reflect their passion for real, locally sourced artisan food. Beyond the classics, dishes like the Hodge Podge and Pear—a combination of red wine-poached pear, orange, spices, gingerbread, chocolate crumbs, mandarin, coconut, mascarpone, and meringue—offer a unique twist. The Prawn Salad, featuring watermelon, whipped smoked feta, cucumber, radish, roasted beets, onion, mixed leaves, and Bloody Mary gel, is another standout option.

Local Tip: Myrtle & Blossom is also licensed, showcasing Queensland wines from South Burnett and Granite Belt regions, along with craft beers from local brewers like All Inn Brewing Co., based nearby in Banyo.
