Prepare to be whisked away to a world of magic and music, as the Australian Celtic Women (ACW) bring their Spellbound concert to life.

This all-female ensemble is sure to deliver an experience that will leave your heart singing when they perform at Sandgate Town Hall this month.

According to singer and bodhran player Miranda Starr, “Our seven-piece band came together through our shared deep Celtic roots and a passion for Celtic music passed down through our families.”

The show is more than just a concert – it’s a vibrant tapestry of music, memories and joy.

An Unforgettable Blend of Music and Tradition

Blending the richness of Celtic instruments – harp, fiddle, bagpipes, bodhran and more – with three classically trained vocalists, the performance promises a mixture of warmth, laughs and dancing.

“We stir up memories and it’s not uncommon to see the crowd laughing one minute and tearing up the next,” Miranda said.

This unique mix of classical training and diverse musical backgrounds among the ACW creates a unique performance that will leave you clamouring for an encore.

A selection of delicious treats will be available at afternoon tea, thanks to the Sandgate branch of the Country Women’s Association. Choose the ‘plus afternoon tea’ ticket when you book.
