As Halloween approaches, Victoria Park in Herston is inviting locals and visitors to experience a spine-tingling twist on mini-golf with its Spooky Putt Putt course.
From Friday, 13 September to Sunday, 3 November, the 18-hole course promises a thrilling yet playful outing for all ages.
Victoria Park Marketing Executive, Maddie Butterfield, said the course was decked out with quirky, Halloween-themed decorations and light-hearted spooky elements.
“It’s all about having a good time while navigating through amusing and slightly eerie challenges, making it a perfect spot for a casual outing with friends or family,” Maddie said.
Guests can test their putting skills through a series of themed holes, starting with the creepy clowns of Carn-evil and moving on to the extraterrestrial fun of Alien Invasion. The VP Graveyard offers an additional thrill with some bone-chilling surprises, including friendly zombies who might want to extend a ghastly handshake.
“The Carn-evil hole (Hole 1) is definitely a standout!” Maddie said. “It’s filled with quirky clowns and carnival fun, making it a playful and memorable part of the course. Or our Swinging Pole challenge on Hole 10 is always fun.”
