If you’re already looking ahead to the September school holidays, Sandgate artist and primary school teacher, Coralie Bolton, has the perfect activity planned.

“Join me at a local pop-up space at Et Al Gallery in Sandgate, where kids will breathe life into a colourful bayside bird on a pre-drawn canvas,” Coralie said.

“It’s a one-hour session, and with bold paints supplied and ready-to-hang canvases, the children will leave with a stunning piece of artwork to showcase proudly at home.”

Coralie will provide t-shirts for the children to wear over their clothes, as well as herbal tea and water for parents, who are asked to stay for the session.

All Ages Welcome for Art with a Local Touch

“This activity is ideal for school holiday, messy fun,” she said.

“We’ll provide t-shirts to wear over their clothes, but as we all know, paint tends to find its way onto nearly everything, so it’s best for children to wear something that can handle a bit of creativity.

“All materials are provided, and all ages are welcome.

“I aim to run small groups of eight children or fewer, to make the sessions accessible to everyone.”

Tickets are $45 each and sessions will run during the first week of the school holidays.
