Get ready to don your Santa suits and join Surf Connect for its annual festive water sports day on Sandgate Beach.
The event, scheduled for Sunday, 21 December, features two main activities: Santa Supping (stand-up paddleboarding) at 9am and Santa Wind, Wing and Kite at midday. Participants are encouraged to dress in Santa costumes and join in, or simply watch from the shore.
Whether you’re a seasoned water sports enthusiast or looking to try something new, these activities offer a fun way to celebrate Christmas with family and friends while enjoying Moreton Bay’s coastline.
Harry, Surf Connect’s Events Manager, said he was looking forward to welcoming everyone to join the festive fun.
“Come along and bring a picnic!” Harry said. “It’s time to celebrate Christmas with your family, whilst we fill the sky and ocean with Santas.”
