The Sandgate Retirement Living & Senior Lifestyle Expo is set to return to Sandgate Town Hall for its second year, offering over-55s and their loved ones a chance to explore and connect to a wide range of businesses and services under one roof.
Mike Falcon, Event Coordinator for Retirement Living & Senior Lifestyle Expos, said the free event was designed to help older Australians and their families access information and build connections as they plan for the future.
“The focus is on services, information and opportunities that support older Australians to live well, stay connected, plan ahead and make informed choices,” Mike said. “For seniors and their loved ones, it can also be a practical way to discover services they may not have known were available locally.”
Organised by Senior Expos Australia, visitors will be able to meet exhibitors offering services such as retirement and aged care living, travel, finance, social and leisure activities, health services, and community programs.
“Many people prefer the chance to speak directly with providers, ask questions, compare options and gather information in a relaxed setting,” Mike said. “These events are important because they bring a wide range of helpful information and services together in one place.”
What to Expect at This Year’s Expo
Building on last year’s success, this year’s expo is expected to be another busy event, with expo-only deals, lucky door prizes, and complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments for attendees.
