Entering a new world of study and thinking is never easy – especially when it’s something that could change the course of your life for the better. I want to share my story from the perspective of a girl who once struggled with English, felt lost and scared, but eventually found herself in her school. What are the challenges, advantages, and even disadvantages that every student might face?
For me, entering this new stage of life while being new to the country was very difficult at first. But my school made it easier than I ever expected. They helped me through every step, even when it came to choosing my final subjects and future pathway.
Challenges and Rewards of Senior School Life
Of course, senior school can be challenging – the subjects are harder, and time management becomes essential. You’ll also need to take responsibility for your own choices. But it’s exciting too! Our school offers so many enjoyable experiences, such as the formal and semi-formal, and lots of other events that make senior life memorable.
Always remember to choose what you love, but also think about what you want to become in the future. Even though the journey and decisions can be hard, there are beautiful things ahead. Work hard to achieve your dreams (and ATAR!).
