Valentine’s Day, the universal day of love, has become one of the most recognisable dates on the calendar. While its origins trace back to Saint Valentine, a figure remembered for acts of devotion and compassion, the story has long since given way to a more modern expression of connection.

Today, Valentine’s Day is less about history and more about gratitude, appreciation and taking a moment to acknowledge the people who matter. Whether you are sharing the day with a partner, celebrating friendship, or spoiling your furry companion, it is a reminder that love in all its forms deserves to be recognised and enjoyed.
