Today, I experienced a baffling exposure,
For an object of significance had an unforeseen closure
When I opened it up, it seemed good and grand,
However, it wouldn’t pursue my every command
“Oh laptop, why must you do this to me?”
I proclaimed in utter disdain you see
I then went to fixing this inconvenient dilemma,
Yet it just wouldn’t fix,
It just wouldn’t!
I just shouldn’t bother
Then,
When I was just about to give in,
I pondered and wondered as I stroked my chin
I analysed my laptop,
Low and high
Then I saw the battery level and realised,
“Oh, that’s why!”
That forsaken device was only on two per cent!
How silly of me to think it would work,
When it was well and truly spent
As I plugged the charger into my laptop,
I could almost feel its energy replenish,
And work its way back to the top
“Yay!” I celebrated as it worked once again
Though it did leave me wondering,
“Why use a laptop,
When there’s paper and pen?”
