For nearly seven years, Sandgate’s popular Franco Markets have offered an eco-conscious shopping alternative to fast fashion right in the heart of 4017.

With markets already established across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, they have their eyes set on a new pop-up location this coming September.

Event manager and owner Jesse explained that they are grateful for the community support they’ve received to date and have no plans to slow their expansion.

“We will be holding our first pop-up at Kallangur later this year, and we’re confident that it will be a great night out,” Jesse said. “Any suburb that turns out to support a Franco Markets event is bound to get another visit. We look forward to trying a few extra locations this year.”

A Sustainable Shopping Experience with a Community Focus

The markets run in partnership with cafes and venues that can host their unique market and social community.

“Franco at Sandgate is run in partnership with Capulet & Co,” Jesse said. “We set up in the rear car park with anywhere from 40 to 70 stallholders offering clothing, accessories, footwear, and a few general retail and healthcare stalls too.”

The next Sandgate event is slated for Sunday, 19 July. For more information on attending this, or another upcoming Franco event, or to apply to be a stallholder, visit Franco Markets website

Entry fee: $2 cash or card at the gate.
