Dust off your witches’ hats and grab your broomsticks, because the Halloween Spook-tacular Disco is flying into town!
Coming up on Friday, 31 October at The Sands Bowlo, this frightfully fun night is designed for locals of all ages to dance under the disco lights to spooky beats and ghoulish tunes.
Marketing Coordinator at The Sands Bowlo, Philomena Hoger, said the event was a chance for children to embrace the magic of Halloween.
“The Sands Bowlo is the perfect venue for families,” Philomena said. “Our Halloween Spook-tacular Disco is about bringing the community together for an affordable and accessible family-friendly event.”
Disco-goers are encouraged to come dressed in their creepiest, spookiest, or most creative costumes, with fang-tastic prizes awarded to the best dressed on the night. From wicked witches and scary skeletons to kooky creations of all kinds, everyone is invited to show off their Halloween spirit.
Spooky Experience for the Whole Family
The event will feature ghostly games, lucky door prizes, and a spook-tacular makeover of the Bowlo, complete with themed decorations and an eerie atmosphere.
Families can also snap their own Halloween memories against the spooky decorations, while the soundtrack of the night promises plenty of fun for little ears with just the right dash of spooky flair.
“At The Sands, we believe that events like this are important to the community as it gives people a chance to get out and do something fun together,” Philomena said. “The Bowlo thrives because of our community.
“This is why we try to appeal to all different ages, and all different interests, so that everyone can have a chance to do something that they would enjoy in the space!”
The Halloween Spook-tacular Disco is set to capture that community spirit, offering families a chance to come together for a memorable night of music, laughter, and festive fun in a welcoming space.
“People love coming to the Bowlo because everyone is welcome!” Philomena said. “Whether you’re there for bowls, events or private functions, we strive to make every moment memorable.”
Tickets are $10 per person (excluding booking fee). Children must be supervised at all times.
